You may know that the two greatest commands are to love God and to love our neighbor. Jesus actually said that everything God wants is summarized in those two commands. So, it seems to us that this is the beginning place of our journey. To love God is to be passionate about understanding Him as He reveals Himself in Scripture and to be open to the transforming work of His Spirit within us. To love our neighbor is to reach out and strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those around us. Yet, it is only by the grace of God thay we are able to do either.
Our desire is to develop the character of Jesus while practicing His love toward all people. Counter to the desires of our surrounding culture, becoming like Christ does not happen with a push of a button or through drive-thru service, but it is a process that takes place over time as we surrender ourselves to a God who changes our lives. We hope you might consider joining on this journey toward Christ-likeness.
